Motherhood: The starting of a new chapter

The transition into parenthood can feel overwhelming, exhausting, frightening as well as wonderful and exciting.

Oftentimes, there is little space or validation given to the messier and darker feelings of giving up your autonomy and body to the needs of a little human.

Supporting your mental health at one of the most vulnerable times in your life is one of the most significant gifts you can bestow on yourself. It is putting on the oxygen mask so that you can better support and care for your baby and your family.

I work with clients who are experiencing pre and post natal depression and anxiety and are struggling to cope or function day-to-day in the way that they would like.

I support new mothers who are experiencing guilt or shame around returning to work after maternity leave, or who are having difficulties in their relationships following the birth of a baby.

I facilitate healing for those who did not experience the birth they had hoped for and may be navigating unprocessed trauma and flashbacks.

My work is based around compassion, validation and committed action to help navigate the new landscape of parenthood. It is a brave space that tackles the ugly and messy parts of motherhood, without imposing judgment or 'fixes'.

We walk together to support ways in which you can rediscover yourself now; where you can see and speak to yourself with kinder eyes and voices.
